Diversity, An Old Wooden Ship

I enjoy observing the interesting group of people Jiu Jitsu brings together, on the mat things like, age, race, gender, money, career and looks all play a very little role. There will be a wealthy doctor in his 40s asking the 20 year old McDonald’s employee for advice on a technique, interacting and problem solving and peers. Jiu Jitsu attracts people from all different walks of life, everyone is trying to conquer their own individual goals, but yet everyone works together on collective goals.

There is no lie in Jiu Jitsu… The secret is the person that works harder, gets more mat time in, gets better.
